Web 2.0 topic choice

I have decided that I will talk about a new passion of mine: running. I'm not really sure how much I want to run, but at this point, I have been consistently running about 3-4 miles, 4-5 days a week. I got into running a year and a half ago for health reasons and have become addicted. This week I wasn't feeling well, so today was the first day I got back into it. I ran 3 miles this morning, which I thought was decent considering I hadn't done it in a week or so. I did some research as to what I should be eating to be able to run longer and feel better while doing it. The link should be above. I don't think I want to run a marathon anytime soon, but I think it would be important to work towards something: maybe a 10k?

  1. Running! What a great passion and I think you should stick with it. Have you checked out runnerworld? Google and look through it. My biggest advice: find a training partner with the same goals. It will help to keep you motivated. Also- working towards a 10k is a great goal. I coach XC and I also ran XC/Track in college. Make sure that you do long runs...but also some speed work (8 x 400m or 5 by 600m). Keep me posted on how it's going!

  2. Thanks Tanya! By long runs, do you mean 3-4 miles? Or should I be pushing for longer runs right now?
